Overview: 

 

After the flamin' hot success of Season II, my client wanted to keep things on brand, super recognisable, but with a twist to mark the new era.

 

To do this, first we established what was indispensable - the smooth serif font, chilli-red branding, and record halo. Once we'd done that, I was left with some wiggle room and had fun with it! I came up with a simple but fresh 'splash' background, with bold, '80s Hip-Hop inspired outline, and a dramatic gradient to the guest text featured on the record. It's an evolution, it's distinct from its predecessor, but its still 100% authentic Hot Girls.

 

As in Season One, I'm honoured to conceptualise and design a growing collection of unique covers for the podcast Hot Girls, one for each guest on the show. The Hot Girls mission is to illuminate female artists in the UK hip-hop, rap, R'n'B, and afro-beat industry, and is a project very close to my heart.
