Overview:
This project has been one of my favourites as Creative Leader at PHMG.
​
In response to this year's D&AD New Blood Competition, we decided to see how many different ways the Copy Team could interpret a brief. Why? In part, in preparation to enter the company into the awards process. But, also, to enable our writers to experiment with a different medium.
As an audio branding agency, the Copywriters at PHMG write adverts for the phoneline, radio, and Spotify everyday. So, I utilised my skills in branding and design in order to let them experiment with another kind of advertising: visual.

Divided into pairs, I hosted workshops for each 'duo' to unpick and tease ideas out of the brief. From there, they had the choice between two avenues - billboard or social media - and I created a do-it-yourself template for each option for the writers to visualise how their words would be brought to life. You can see these templates below, which include my own advert creations.

Once each duo had completed their template, they sent this back to me and filled out a small valuation. From here, as you can see in the finished result above, I applied each design to a billboard or social mock-up, demonstrating their idea as a complete concept.

All video and PowerPoint work was completed using a combination of Adobe Suite and Canva.
